Concrete subfloors naturally hold moisture. If sealed with a non-porous epoxy coating without checking moisture levels, capillary pressure forces moisture vapor upwards, causing bubbles, blistering, and complete delamination of the epoxy floor. We test every slab to ensure it is under 3% moisture content.

Normal sand-cement screeds are manually tamped and leveled, which leaves waves and level variances. Self-leveling screed is a specialized polymer-modified compound that behaves like a fluid, finding its own level. It cures to a smooth, flat surface with under 2mm variance, essential for luxury vinyl tile (LVT) and wood flooring.

While our commercial epoxies achieve initial cure and light foot traffic accessibility in 12 to 24 hours, full chemical and mechanical cross-linking requires 7 days. We recommend waiting 48 hours for light vehicles and a full week before exposing the floor to forklifts or heavy chemical washing.
